Ingredients

  • Popcorn kernels - 100 grams
  • Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground ginger - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Chopped green onions - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a large pot, heat the vegetable oil over medium heat.
  2. Add the popcorn kernels to the pot, cover it with a lid, and shake the pot occasionally until the popping slows down to about 2 seconds between pops.
  3. Once popped, remove the pot from the heat and transfer the popcorn to a large mixing bowl.

  5. Drizzle the sauce mixture over the warm popcorn and toss to coat evenly.
