Ingredients

  • Ground beef - 250 grams
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml
  • Sesame oil - 10 ml
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Carrot - 1 small, julienned
  • Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
  • Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 8 leaves
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
  2. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated ground beef and cook for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through.
  3. Once the beef is cooked, stir in chopped green onions, julienned carrots, and cucumber. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
  4. Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds and red chili flakes over the mixture. Stir to combine.
  5. To serve, place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each lettuce leaf, wrap it up, and enjoy!
