- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 10 ml
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 8 leaves
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Red chili flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, salt, and pepper. Mix well and let it marinate for 15 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated ground beef and cook for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until browned and cooked through.
- Once the beef is cooked, stir in chopped green onions, julienned carrots, and cucumber. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Remove the skillet from heat and sprinkle sesame seeds and red chili flakes over the mixture. Stir to combine.
- To serve, place a spoonful of the beef mixture onto each lettuce leaf, wrap it up, and enjoy!
