- Pizza dough - 250 grams
- Olive oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Spinach - 50 grams, chopped
- Perilla leaves (shiso) - 10 leaves, chopped
- Green onions - 2 stalks, sliced
- Mushrooms (shiitake or oyster) - 100 grams, sliced
- Mozzarella cheese - 150 grams, shredded
- Gochujang - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 220°C (428°F) and prepare a pizza stone or baking sheet.
- In a skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat and sauté the minced garlic until fragrant, about 1 minute.
- Add the chopped spinach, perilla leaves, and sliced mushrooms to the skillet. Cook until the spinach is wilted and the mushrooms are tender, about 3-4 minutes. Season with salt to taste and remove from heat.
- Roll out the pizza dough on a floured surface to your desired thickness, then transfer it to the pizza stone or baking sheet.
- Spread the sautéed vegetable mixture evenly over the pizza base.
- Sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese on top of the vegetables.
- Drizzle gochujang mixed with sesame oil over the cheese.
- Sprinkle sliced green onions and sesame seeds over the top.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbling.
- Remove from the oven, let cool for a couple of minutes, slice, and serve hot.
