Ingredients

  • Zucchini - 150 grams

  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 grams
  • Carrot - 100 grams
  • Green onion - 50 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey or maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic (minced) - 1 clove
  • Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  2. Wash and cut the zucchini, bell pepper, mushrooms, and carrot into even-sized pieces.
  3. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, honey (or maple syrup), minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
  4. Add the prepared vegetables to the marinade, tossing to ensure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  5. Skewer the marinated vegetables or place them directly on the grill. Grill for about 10-15 minutes, turning occasionally, until they are tender and have nice grill marks.
