Ingredients

  • Korean-style sausages - 200 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons
  • Black sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Lettuce leaves - for serving

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix soy sauce, gochujang, honey, sesame oil, and minced garlic to create the marinade.
  2. Add the Korean sausages to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  3. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Remove the sausages from the marinade and grill them for about 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally until they are cooked through and have nice grill marks.
  5. While the sausages are grilling, prepare a dipping sauce by mixing the remaining marinade with chopped green onions and black sesame seeds.
  6. Once the sausages are done, serve them on a plate with lettuce leaves and the dipping sauce on the side.
