Ingredients

  • Pizza dough - 200 grams
  • Ground beef - 150 grams
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Green onions, sliced - 2 tablespoons
  • Mozzarella cheese, shredded - 100 grams
  • Red bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1/2
  • Carrot, julienned - 1/2
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
  • Cilantro, for garnish - a handful

Steps

  1. Preheat the oven to 220°C (425°F).
  2. In a bowl, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, gochujang, honey, and minced garlic. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare the pizza dough by rolling it out into a round shape on a lightly floured surface.
  4. Transfer the rolled-out dough to a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  5. In a skillet, heat sesame oil over medium heat. Add the marinated beef and cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from heat.
  6. Spread the cooked beef evenly over the pizza dough.
  7. Sprinkle shredded mozzarella cheese over the beef, followed by sliced red bell pepper and julienned carrots.
  8. Bake the pizza in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.
  9. Remove the pizza from the oven, and garnish with sliced green onions, sesame seeds, and cilantro before serving.
