- Brown sugar substitute - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Cucumber - 1 small, julienned
- Lettuce leaves (Butter or Romaine) - 8 large leaves
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine ground beef, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and brown sugar substitute. Mix well and let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated ground beef and cook for about 8-10 minutes, breaking it apart with a spatula until fully cooked.
- Add chopped green onions, julienned carrot, and cucumber to the skillet. Stir-fry for an additional 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are slightly softened.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sesame seeds and red pepper flakes if using.
