Ingredients
- Ground beef - 250 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onion - 2 stalks, finely chopped
- Egg - 1, beaten
- Breadcrumbs - 30 grams
- Burger buns - 2 whole grain
- Lettuce leaves - 4
- Tomato - 1 medium, sliced
- Cucumber - 1 small, thinly sliced
- Gochujang - 1 tablespoon
- Greek yogurt - 2 tablespoons
Steps
- In a bowl, combine ground beef, minced garlic, grated ginger, soy sauce, sesame oil, chopped green onion, beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Mix well until all ingredients are combined.
- Form the mixture into 2 equal-sized patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through and browned.
- While the patties are cooking, prepare the gochujang sauce by mixing gochujang with Greek yogurt in a small bowl until smooth.
- Toast the burger buns lightly on the skillet or in a toaster.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf on the bottom half of each bun, followed by the cooked beef patty, sliced tomato, and cucumber. Spread the gochujang sauce on top.
- Cover with the top half of the bun and serve immediately.
