  • Maple syrup - 30 ml
  • Sesame oil - 15 ml
  • Rice vinegar - 15 ml
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, for garnish

  2. In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, maple syrup, sesame oil, rice vinegar, minced garlic, grated ginger, and gochujang to create a marinade.
  3. Place the tofu steaks in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well coated. Marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil.
