- Beef sirloin - 300 grams (thinly sliced)
- Soy sauce - 60 ml
- Sesame oil - 15 ml
- Brown sugar - 15 grams
- Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon (grated)
- Green onions - 2 (sliced)
- Corn tortillas - 4 (small)
- Kimchi - 100 grams (chopped)
- Cilantro - 1/4 cup (chopped)
- Lime - 1 (cut into wedges)
- Sriracha - to taste (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef sirloin to the marinade, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
- While the beef is marinating, prepare your toppings: chop the kimchi, slice the green onions, and chop the cilantro.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until cooked through.
- Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
- Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of cooked beef on each tortilla, then top with kimchi, green onions, and cilantro.
- Serve with lime wedges and drizzle with sriracha if desired.
