Ingredients

  • Beef sirloin - 300 grams (thinly sliced)
  • Soy sauce - 60 ml
  • Sesame oil - 15 ml
  • Brown sugar - 15 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves (minced)
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon (grated)
  • Green onions - 2 (sliced)
  • Corn tortillas - 4 (small)
  • Kimchi - 100 grams (chopped)
  • Cilantro - 1/4 cup (chopped)
  • Lime - 1 (cut into wedges)
  • Sriracha - to taste (optional)

Steps

  1. In a bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add the sliced beef sirloin to the marinade, ensuring it's well-coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. While the beef is marinating, prepare your toppings: chop the kimchi, slice the green onions, and chop the cilantro.
  4. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated beef and cook for about 5-7 minutes, stirring frequently until cooked through.
  5. Warm the corn tortillas in a separate skillet for about 30 seconds on each side until pliable.
  6. Assemble the tacos by placing a portion of cooked beef on each tortilla, then top with kimchi, green onions, and cilantro.
  7. Serve with lime wedges and drizzle with sriracha if desired.
