- Rice paper wrappers - 4 sheets
- Cooked bulgogi beef or tofu - 150 grams
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Cucumber - 1 medium, julienned
- Red bell pepper - 1 medium, julienned
- Fresh cilantro - 20 grams
- Fresh mint - 20 grams
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
- Chili sauce (optional) - to taste
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the cooked bulgogi beef or tofu with soy sauce, sesame oil, and rice vinegar. Let marinate for 10 minutes.
- Prepare all the vegetables by washing and cutting them into thin strips.
- Fill a shallow dish with warm water and soak each rice paper wrapper for about 10-15 seconds until pliable.
- Lay the softened rice paper on a clean surface or cutting board.
- Place a lettuce leaf on the lower third of the rice paper, followed by a small amount of marinated bulgogi or tofu, a few strips of carrot, cucumber, and red bell pepper, and a sprinkle of cilantro and mint.
- Fold the sides of the rice paper over the filling, then roll it up tightly from the bottom to the top to form a roll. Repeat this process with the remaining ingredients.
- Serve the rice paper rolls with a sprinkle of sesame seeds and a side of chili sauce for dipping.
