- Fettuccine pasta - 200 grams
- Beef sirloin (Halal) - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tablespoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 2 liters for boiling pasta
Steps
- Bring 2 liters of water to a boil in a large pot. Add a pinch of salt and cook the fettuccine according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a bowl, mix the soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Add the sliced beef and marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef along with the marinade and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the beef is browned and cooked through.
- Add the julienned carrot and sliced bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for another 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Add the cooked fettuccine to the skillet and toss everything together until well combined. Season with black pepper to taste.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds before serving.
