Ingredients

  • Green cabbage - 300 grams
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown sugar - 1 tablespoon
  • Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. Remove the outer leaves of the cabbage and cut it into quarters. Remove the core and separate the leaves.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together soy sauce, sesame oil, brown sugar, gochujang, minced garlic, grated ginger, and rice vinegar to create the marinade.
  3. Place the cabbage leaves in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over them, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
