- Kongmyeon noodles - 200 grams
- Chicken breast - 150 grams, diced
- Tofu - 100 grams, cubed
- Soy sauce - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Bell pepper - 1 medium, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - to taste
- Water - 1 liter
Steps
- In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and cook the Kongmyeon noodles according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat. Add the diced chicken and cook until browned and cooked through, about 5-7 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, sliced bell pepper, and julienned carrot to the skillet. Sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until vegetables are tender.
- Stir in the cubed tofu and spinach, cooking until the spinach wilts, about 2 minutes.
- Pour in the soy sauce and the remaining tablespoon of sesame oil. Mix well to combine all ingredients and season with black pepper to taste.
- Add the cooked Kongmyeon noodles to the skillet, tossing everything together gently to evenly coat the noodles with the sauce and heat through, about 2-3 minutes.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
