- Spaghetti - 160 grams
- Kimchi - 150 grams, chopped
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions - 2, sliced
- Carrot - 1 small, julienned
- Eggs - 2, large (optional for topping)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Cook the spaghetti according to package instructions until al dente, then drain and set aside.
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté for about 1 minute until fragrant.
- Add the chopped kimchi and julienned carrot to the skillet. Sauté for about 3-4 minutes until the kimchi is heated through.
- Stir in the cooked spaghetti, soy sauce, and sesame oil. Toss everything together to combine and heat through for another 2-3 minutes.
- Season with salt and black pepper to taste. Remove from heat and stir in sliced green onions.
- If using eggs, fry them sunny-side-up in a separate pan while the spaghetti is cooking.
