Ingredients
- Halal ground beef - 250 grams
- Kimchi - 100 grams
- Shredded mozzarella cheese - 100 grams
- Flour tortillas - 2 large
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
- Onion powder - 1 teaspoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
- Lettuce leaves - 2 pieces
- Sriracha sauce - 1 tablespoon (optional)
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the ground beef with soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper until well combined. Form into 2 equal patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium heat and add cooking oil. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until they reach your desired doneness.
- While the patties are cooking, place one tortilla on a separate skillet over medium heat. Sprinkle half of the shredded mozzarella cheese on one half of the tortilla.
- Once the cheese starts to melt, place a cooked patty on top, followed by half of the kimchi, and then fold the tortilla in half to cover the filling. Cook until the tortilla is golden brown and crisp, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Repeat the process with the second tortilla and remaining ingredients.
- To serve, place the quesadilla burgers on a plate, top with fresh lettuce leaves, and drizzle with sriracha sauce if desired.
