Ingredients

  • Firm tofu - 400 grams
  • Kimchi - 150 grams

  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - for grilling
  • Lettuce leaves - for serving

Steps

  1. Press the firm tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, mix the kimchi, soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Place the tofu slices in the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let them marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat a grill pan or outdoor grill over medium heat and lightly grease it with vegetable oil.
  5. Grill the marinated tofu slices for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they are golden brown and slightly charred.
  6. Remove the tofu from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
  7. Serve the grilled tofu with lettuce leaves for wrapping and additional kimchi on the side.
