Ingredients

  • Chicken wings - 500 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce (low sodium) - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Ginger powder - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions (chopped) - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. In a large bowl, combine the olive oil, soy sauce, gochujang, garlic powder, ginger powder, black pepper, and sesame oil to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken wings to the marinade, making sure they are well coated. Let them marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place a wire rack on top. Arrange the marinated wings in a single layer on the rack.
  5. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are golden brown and crispy, flipping them halfway through the cooking time.
  6. Once cooked, remove the wings from the oven and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
