Ingredients

  • Chicken thighs - 300 grams, boneless and skinless
  • Soy sauce - 30 ml, low-sodium
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 15 grams
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional for extra heat)
  • Olive oil - 1 tablespoon, for cooking

Steps

  1. Cut the chicken thighs into bite-sized pieces and set aside.
  2. In a medium bowl, mix together soy sauce, gochujang, minced garlic, minced ginger, sesame oil, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to create the marinade.
  3. Add the chicken pieces to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
  4. Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated chicken pieces.
