- Pork belly - 400 grams
- Soy sauce - 30 ml
- Sesame oil - 15 ml
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 inch, grated
- Erythritol - 1 tablespoon
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
- Score the skin of the pork belly in a crisscross pattern, being careful not to cut into the meat.
- In a bowl, mix soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, erythritol, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Rub the marinade all over the pork belly, making sure to get it into the scored skin and the meat.
- Place the pork belly on a roasting rack in a baking tray, skin side up, and roast in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
- After 30 minutes, increase the oven temperature to 220°C (425°F) and roast for an additional 10 minutes, or until the skin is crispy.
- Remove the pork belly from the oven and let it rest for 5 minutes before slicing.
- Serve warm, garnished with chopped green onions.
