Ingredients

  • Almond flour - 100g
  • Coconut flour - 30g
  • Psyllium husk - 1 tbsp
  • Baking powder - 1 tsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp
  • Egg - 1 large
  • Unsweetened almond milk - 100ml
  • Erythritol - 2 tbsp
  • Butter - 2 tbsp (melted)
  • Chopped walnuts - 30g
  • Cinnamon - 1 tsp

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine almond flour, coconut flour, psyllium husk, baking powder, and salt.
  2. In another bowl, whisk together the egg, almond milk, and melted butter.
  3. Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.
  4. Cover the dough and let it rest for 10 minutes.
  5. In a small bowl, mix the chopped walnuts, erythritol, and cinnamon to create the filling.
  6. Divide the dough into 4 equal parts and flatten each piece into a disk.
  7. Place a tablespoon of the walnut filling in the center of each disk, then fold the edges over to seal the filling inside.
  8. Preheat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and add a little butter.
  9. Cook each Hotteok for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and crispy.
