Ingredients

  • Shirataki noodles - 200 grams
  • Chicken breast - 150 grams, diced
  • Beef bone broth - 500 ml
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Egg - 1, beaten
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon (optional)

Steps

  1. In a pot, heat sesame oil over medium heat and add minced garlic, stirring until fragrant.
  2. Add the diced chicken breast to the pot and cook until no longer pink.
  3. Pour in the beef bone broth and bring to a simmer.
  4. Add soy sauce, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using) to the broth.
  5. Rinse the shirataki noodles under cold water and drain, then add them to the pot.
  6. Let the soup simmer for 5-7 minutes until the noodles are heated through.
  7. Slowly pour in the beaten egg while stirring the soup to create ribbons of egg.
  8. Remove from heat and stir in chopped green onions before serving.
