Ingredients

  • Beef short ribs - 500 grams
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for a soy-free option) - 60 ml
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Erythritol (or preferred keto sweetener) - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic, minced - 3 cloves
  • Ginger, grated - 1 teaspoon
  • Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, erythritol, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and salt to create the marinade.
  2. Add the beef short ribs to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover the bowl and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours for more flavor.
  3. Preheat your grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Remove the short ribs from the marinade and let excess marinade drip off. Discard the remaining marinade.
  5. Grill the short ribs for about 5-7 minutes on each side, or until they are nicely charred and cooked to your desired doneness.
  6. Once cooked, remove the ribs from the grill and let them rest for a few minutes.
  7. Sprinkle chopped green onions and sesame seeds over the ribs before serving.
