- Korean loach (or alternative fish) - 200 grams
- Water - 500 ml
- Korean radish (mu) - 100 grams, diced
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Korean chili powder (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
- Fish sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Shirataki noodles - 200 grams, rinsed
Steps
- In a pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil over medium heat.
- Add the diced Korean radish, minced garlic, and grated ginger to the boiling water. Let it simmer for about 10 minutes until the radish is tender.
- Add the Korean loach (or alternative fish) to the pot and cook for another 5-7 minutes until the fish is cooked through.
- Stir in the Korean chili powder, fish sauce, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper. Adjust seasoning to taste.
- Add the rinsed shirataki noodles to the pot and let them warm in the broth for about 2-3 minutes.
- Finally, sprinkle chopped green onions over the top before serving.
