Ingredients
- Beef sirloin - 300 grams, thinly sliced
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 3 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Erythritol or monk fruit sweetener - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
- Red pepper flakes - 1/2 teaspoon
- Cauliflower rice - 200 grams, for serving
Steps
- In a mixing bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, erythritol, minced garlic, grated ginger, black pepper, and red pepper flakes to create the marinade.
- Add the sliced beef to the marinade, ensuring all pieces are well coated. Marinate for at least 15 minutes, or up to 2 hours in the refrigerator for deeper flavor.
- Heat a grill pan or skillet over medium-high heat and lightly grease it with sesame oil.
- Remove the beef from the marinade, letting any excess drip off, and cook in the hot pan for about 3-4 minutes on each side until browned and cooked through.
- While the beef is cooking, prepare the cauliflower rice according to package instructions or sauté it in a separate pan with a little oil for about 5 minutes until tender.
- Serve the cooked bulgogi over the cauliflower rice, garnished with chopped green onions.
