Ingredients

  • Fresh spinach - 200 grams
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Radish (daikon) - 100 grams, julienned
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos) - 1 tablespoon
  • Red pepper flakes - 1 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a large pan, heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil over medium heat.
  2. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Add the fresh spinach to the pan and stir-fry for about 3-4 minutes until wilted. Season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Remove the spinach from the pan and sprinkle with sesame seeds. Set aside.
  5. In the same pan, add the julienned radish, green onion, soy sauce, red pepper flakes, and a pinch of salt. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until the radish is slightly tender.
  6. Serve the sautéed spinach and spicy radish salad together on a plate, drizzling with the remaining sesame oil if desired.
