Ingredients

  • Fresh squid - 300 grams
  • Olive oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce (or coconut aminos for keto) - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon for garnish

Steps

  1. Preheat your oven to 200°C (400°F).
  2. Clean the squid by removing the head, innards, and skin. Cut the body into rings and set aside.
  3. In a mixing bowl, combine olive oil, minced garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, rice vinegar, and black pepper. Mix well to form the marinade.
  4. Add the squid rings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Let them marinate for about 15 minutes.
