Ingredients

  • Dried jujube dates - 100 grams
  • Water - 500 milliliters
  • Cinnamon stick - 1
  • Ginger (fresh) - 10 grams
  • Maple syrup (optional) - 1 tablespoon

Steps

  1. Rinse the dried jujube dates under cold water to remove any impurities.
  2. In a pot, combine the rinsed jujube dates, water, cinnamon stick, and sliced fresh ginger.
  3. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium heat, then reduce the heat to low and let it simmer for about 20 minutes.
  4. Remove the pot from heat and let the tea steep for an additional 5 minutes.
  5. Strain the tea into cups, discarding the solids.
  6. If desired, add maple syrup for extra sweetness and stir well before serving.
