- Pork belly (or pork shoulder) - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Gochujang (Korean red chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Carrot - 1 small, diced
- Bell pepper - 1 small, diced
- Frozen peas - 100 grams
- Eggs - 2, lightly beaten
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
- Cooking oil - 1 tablespoon
Steps
- In a bowl, mix the thinly sliced pork with gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Heat a tablespoon of cooking oil in a large skillet or wok over medium-high heat.
- Add the marinated pork to the skillet and cook for about 5-7 minutes, until browned and cooked through. Remove the pork and set it aside.
- In the same skillet, add diced carrot and bell pepper. Stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until they start to soften.
- Add the frozen peas and continue to stir-fry for another 2 minutes.
- Push the vegetables to one side of the skillet and add the beaten eggs to the empty side. Scramble the eggs until they are fully cooked.
- Add the cooked rice to the skillet, followed by the cooked pork, and chopped green onions. Stir everything together and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes, ensuring everything is heated through and well combined.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste, and serve hot.
