Ingredients
- Shirataki noodles - 200 grams
- Beef sirloin, thinly sliced - 150 grams
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Bell pepper, thinly sliced - 1 medium (about 150 grams)
- Carrot, julienned - 1 small (about 50 grams)
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button), sliced - 100 grams
- Garlic, minced - 2 cloves
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Soy sauce (or tamari for gluten-free) - 2 tablespoons
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onions, chopped - 2 stalks
- Sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon
Steps
- Rinse the Shirataki noodles under cold water and drain. Then, boil them in water for 2-3 minutes, drain again, and set aside.
- Heat a large skillet or wok over medium heat and add sesame oil. Once hot, add the minced garlic and sauté for about 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the sliced beef to the skillet and cook for 3-4 minutes until browned. Season with black pepper.
- Incorporate the sliced bell pepper, carrot, and mushrooms into the skillet, cooking for an additional 3-4 minutes until the vegetables are slightly tender.
- Add the spinach and Shirataki noodles to the skillet, followed by the soy sauce. Toss everything together and cook for another 2-3 minutes until heated through.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
