Steps
- Peel the potatoes and slice them thinly (about 1-2 mm thick) using a mandoline or knife.
- Soak the potato slices in cold water for 10 minutes to remove excess starch, then drain and pat them dry with a paper towel.
- In a large frying pan, heat vegetable oil over medium heat (about 180°C or 350°F).
- Carefully add the potato slices in batches to the hot oil, frying until they are golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch.
- Remove the chips from the oil and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.
- In a small saucepan, melt the unsalted butter over low heat, then stir in the honey until well combined.
