Ingredients

  • Beef brisket - 200 grams, thinly sliced
  • Firm tofu - 150 grams, cubed
  • Water - 1 liter
  • Korean radish (mu) - 100 grams, julienned
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
  • Gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Eggs - 2, lightly beaten

Steps

  1. In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add the sliced beef brisket. Cook for about 5 minutes until the beef is tender.
  2. Add the julienned Korean radish, minced garlic, and gochugaru to the pot. Simmer for another 10 minutes.
  3. Stir in the soy sauce, sesame oil, and season with salt and black pepper to taste.
  4. Add the cubed tofu and chopped green onions. Cook for an additional 5 minutes until the tofu is heated through.
  5. Finally, drizzle the lightly beaten eggs over the soup and stir gently to create ribbons. Cook for 2 more minutes before removing from heat.
