Ingredients

  • Water - 500 ml
  • Eggs - 4 large
  • Tofu (soft) - 150 g, cubed
  • Green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Korean red pepper flakes (gochugaru) - 1 tablespoon
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Zucchini - 100 g, sliced
  • Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 g, sliced
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a medium pot, bring 500 ml of water to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Add the minced garlic, soy sauce, and Korean red pepper flakes to the boiling water.
  3. Add the cubed tofu, sliced zucchini, and mushrooms to the pot. Simmer for about 5 minutes until the vegetables are tender.
  4. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and season with salt and black pepper.
  5. Slowly pour the beaten eggs into the pot in a circular motion, stirring gently to create ribbons of egg.
  6. Add the chopped green onions and drizzle sesame oil over the top.
  7. Remove from heat and let it sit for a couple of minutes before serving.
