- Sugar - 30 grams
- Baking powder - 1 teaspoon
- Salt - 1/4 teaspoon
- Milk - 100 ml
- Eggs - 2 large
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Cheddar cheese - 30 grams, grated
- Green onions - 1 tablespoon, finely chopped
Steps
- Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F) and lightly grease a muffin tin or silicone mold.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, sugar, baking powder, and salt, and whisk until well mixed.
- In another bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, and vegetable oil until fully combined.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined, being careful not to overmix.
- Fold in the grated cheddar cheese and chopped green onions.
- Spoon the batter into the prepared muffin tin, filling each cavity about two-thirds full.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 15-18 minutes until the tops are golden and a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before removing from the tin and serve warm.
