- water - 750 ml
- dried anchovies - 30 g
- seaweed (dried, such as miyeok) - 10 g
- tofu (firm) - 100 g, cubed
- squid (cleaned) - 100 g, sliced
- shrimp (peeled) - 100 g
- mushrooms (shiitake or oyster) - 50 g, sliced
- green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- gochugaru (Korean red pepper flakes) - 1 tablespoon
- soy sauce (Halal) - 2 tablespoons
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- black pepper - to taste
- salt - to taste
Steps
- In a pot, bring 750 ml of water to a boil and add the dried anchovies. Let it simmer for 10 minutes to create a flavorful broth.
- Remove the anchovies from the pot and add the dried seaweed. Simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
- Add the minced garlic, gochugaru, and soy sauce to the pot, stirring well to combine.
- Introduce the cubed tofu, sliced squid, and shrimp into the broth. Cook for about 5 minutes until the seafood is fully cooked.
- Add the sliced mushrooms and chopped green onions, then drizzle in sesame oil. Simmer for another 3-5 minutes.
- Season with black pepper and salt to taste before serving hot.
