- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
- Honey - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 1 clove, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Chili flakes - to taste
- Lettuce leaves - for serving
Steps
- Begin by shucking the fresh oysters and rinsing them gently in cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel and set aside.
- In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili flakes to create the dressing. Whisk until well combined.
- In a large bowl, mix the julienned cucumber, carrot, radish, and red bell pepper. Pour half of the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat.
- On a serving plate, lay down a few lettuce leaves as a bed. Arrange the tossed vegetables on top of the lettuce.
- Place the oysters on top of the vegetables. Drizzle the remaining dressing over the oysters and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
- Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing seafood dish.
