  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Rice vinegar - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili flakes - to taste
  • Lettuce leaves - for serving

Steps

  1. Begin by shucking the fresh oysters and rinsing them gently in cold water. Pat them dry with a paper towel and set aside.
  2. In a mixing bowl, combine the soy sauce, rice vinegar, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and chili flakes to create the dressing. Whisk until well combined.
  3. In a large bowl, mix the julienned cucumber, carrot, radish, and red bell pepper. Pour half of the dressing over the vegetables and toss gently to coat.
  4. On a serving plate, lay down a few lettuce leaves as a bed. Arrange the tossed vegetables on top of the lettuce.
  5. Place the oysters on top of the vegetables. Drizzle the remaining dressing over the oysters and sprinkle with sesame seeds.
  6. Serve immediately and enjoy this refreshing seafood dish.
