Steps
- Thoroughly clean the clams under cold running water to remove any sand or grit.
- In a medium saucepan, combine the soy sauce, water, minced garlic, grated ginger, sugar, and red pepper flakes. Bring the mixture to a gentle simmer over medium heat.
- Add the cleaned clams to the saucepan. Cover and cook for about 10-15 minutes, or until the clams have opened up.
- Once the clams are cooked, remove them from heat and stir in the chopped green onions and sesame oil.
