Ingredients

  • Fresh oysters - 200 grams
  • Eggs - 2 large
  • Green onions - 2 stalks, finely chopped
  • Garlic - 1 clove, minced
  • Almond flour - 30 grams
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Cooking oil (for frying) - 2 tablespoons

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine the fresh oysters, chopped green onions, minced garlic, almond flour, soy sauce, sesame oil, and black pepper until well mixed.
  2. In a separate bowl, beat the eggs and then fold them into the oyster mixture until fully incorporated.
  3. Heat 1 tablespoon of cooking oil in a non-stick skillet over medium heat.
  4. Spoon about half of the mixture into the skillet, flattening it slightly to form a pancake shape.
  5. Cook for about 3-4 minutes on one side until golden brown, then flip and cook for another 2-3 minutes on the other side.
  6. Remove the pancake and repeat with the remaining mixture, adding more oil to the skillet as needed.
  7. Serve the Gul Jeon hot, optionally with a dipping sauce of soy sauce and vinegar.
