Ingredients
- Water - 600 ml
- Dried anchovies - 20 g
- Kelp (dried) - 10 g
- Garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 tsp, minced
- Miso paste - 2 tbsp
- Shrimp (peeled and deveined) - 100 g
- Squid (cleaned and sliced) - 100 g
- Mussels (cleaned) - 100 g
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped
- Cilantro - a handful, chopped
- Red chili pepper - 1, sliced (optional)
- Black pepper - to taste
- Sesame oil - 1 tsp
Steps
- In a pot, combine water, dried anchovies, and kelp. Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and simmer for 10 minutes to make the broth.
- Remove the anchovies and kelp from the pot, and add minced garlic and ginger. Stir well.
- Mix in the miso paste until fully dissolved, then add the shrimp, squid, and mussels to the pot.
- Cook for another 5-7 minutes until the seafood is cooked through.
- Add chopped green onions and cilantro to the pot, and season with black pepper and sesame oil.
- If desired, add sliced red chili pepper for heat, then serve hot.
