- Squid - 200 grams, cleaned and sliced
- Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Lettuce leaves - 4 large
- Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
Steps
- In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Mix well.
- Add the sliced squid and shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated seafood along with the marinade.
- Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and the squid is opaque, stirring occasionally.
- If using, sprinkle in red chili flakes for a bit of heat and stir well.
- Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
- To serve, place generous portions of the seafood mixture onto individual lettuce leaves, allowing for easy wrapping and eating.
