Ingredients

  • Squid - 200 grams, cleaned and sliced
  • Shrimp - 150 grams, peeled and deveined
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
  • Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Red chili flakes - 1 teaspoon (optional)
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Lettuce leaves - 4 large
  • Lemon juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted

Steps

  1. In a medium bowl, combine soy sauce, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, and lemon juice. Mix well.
  2. Add the sliced squid and shrimp to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated. Let it marinate for about 10 minutes.
  3. Heat a non-stick skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the marinated seafood along with the marinade.
  4. Cook for about 5-7 minutes, or until the shrimp turn pink and the squid is opaque, stirring occasionally.
  5. If using, sprinkle in red chili flakes for a bit of heat and stir well.
  6. Remove from heat and garnish with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  7. To serve, place generous portions of the seafood mixture onto individual lettuce leaves, allowing for easy wrapping and eating.
