Ingredients
- Beef brisket - 200 grams, thinly sliced
- Water - 1 liter
- Soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 4 cloves, minced
- Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
- Green onions - 2, chopped
- Mushrooms (shiitake or button) - 100 grams, sliced
- Carrot - 1 medium, julienned
- Spinach - 100 grams
- Cooked rice - 200 grams
- Egg - 2, beaten
- Salt - to taste
- Pepper - to taste
Steps
- In a large pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add the beef brisket slices.
- Once the beef is cooked (about 10 minutes), remove it from the pot and set aside.
- In the same pot, add soy sauce, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and salt and pepper to taste.
- Add the mushrooms, carrot, and chopped green onions to the pot and simmer for 10 minutes.
- Return the cooked beef to the pot, then add the spinach and let it cook for another 3 minutes until wilted.
- In a separate pan, scramble the beaten eggs until fully cooked.
- Serve the soup over bowls of cooked rice, topped with scrambled eggs and additional green onions if desired.
