  • Soy Sauce - 3 tablespoons
  • Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
  • Brown Sugar - 1 teaspoon
  • Minced Garlic - 2 cloves
  • Grated Ginger - 1 teaspoon
  • Green Onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame Seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable Oil - for grilling
  • Lettuce Leaves - for serving
  • Sliced Radish - for garnish

Steps

  1. Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1.5 cm thick slices.
  2. In a bowl, whisk together the soy sauce, sesame oil, gochujang, brown sugar, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create the marinade.
  3. Add the tofu slices to the marinade, ensuring each piece is well coated. Let it marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  4. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat and lightly oil the surface.
  5. Place the marinated tofu slices on the grill, cooking for about 4-5 minutes on each side until you achieve grill marks and the tofu is heated through.
  6. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
  7. Serve the grilled tofu on a platter with lettuce leaves and sliced radish for garnish. Enjoy!
