Ingredients

  • Kimchi - 200 grams
  • Sesame oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon, toasted
  • Lettuce leaves - 4, for serving

Steps

  1. Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  2. In a bowl, combine sesame oil, soy sauce, and minced garlic.
  3. Add the kimchi to the bowl and mix well, ensuring it's evenly coated with the marinade.
  4. Place the marinated kimchi on the grill and cook for about 3-4 minutes on each side, or until it gets a nice char.
  5. Once grilled, remove the kimchi from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
  6. Serve warm on a bed of lettuce leaves for a fresh crunch.
