- beef small intestines - 300 grams
- water - 1 liter
- salt - 2 teaspoons
- black pepper - 1 teaspoon
- sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- garlic - 3 cloves, minced
- gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 1 tablespoon
- soy sauce - 2 tablespoons
- green onion - 2 stalks, chopped
- sesame seeds - 1 teaspoon, toasted
Steps
- Rinse the beef intestines thoroughly under cold water to remove any impurities.
- In a pot, bring 1 liter of water to a boil and add 2 teaspoons of salt.
- Once boiling, add the intestines and simmer for 10 minutes to parboil them.
- Remove the intestines from the pot and let them cool slightly, then cut them into 5 cm pieces.
- In a bowl, mix together sesame oil, minced garlic, gochujang, soy sauce, and black pepper to create a marinade.
- Add the intestines to the marinade, ensuring they are well-coated, and let them marinate for 15 minutes.
- Preheat a grill or grill pan over medium-high heat.
- Grill the marinated intestines for about 5-7 minutes on each side until they are crispy and cooked through.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.
