- Firm tofu - 300 grams
- Gochujang - 2 tablespoons
- Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
- Cornstarch - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - for frying
- Green onions - 2 stalks, chopped (for garnish)
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon (for garnish)
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 2.5 cm cubes.
- In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, and minced garlic to create a marinade.
- Add the tofu cubes to the marinade and toss gently to coat. Let it marinate for at least 10 minutes.
- Sprinkle cornstarch over the marinated tofu and toss gently to coat evenly.
- Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan over medium heat until hot.
- Fry the tofu cubes in batches until golden and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per side.
- Remove the tofu bites from the pan and drain on paper towels.
- Serve hot, garnished with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
