- Sesame oil - 1 tablespoon
- Honey or maple syrup - 1 tablespoon
- Garlic (minced) - 2 cloves
- Green onions (sliced) - 2 tablespoons
- Vegetable oil - 2 tablespoons
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Cooked rice - 1 cup (for serving)
- Steamed vegetables (e.g., spinach, broccoli) - 1 cup (for serving)
Steps
- Press the tofu for 15 minutes to remove excess moisture, then cut it into 1 cm thick slices.
- In a small bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey or maple syrup, and minced garlic to create the marinade.

- Reduce the heat and pour the marinade over the tofu, cooking for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens and coats the tofu nicely.
- Remove from heat and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
