Ingredients
- Eggs - 4 large
- Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
- Gochujang - 1 tablespoon
- Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
- Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
- Sesame oil - 1/2 teaspoon
- Salt - to taste
- Black pepper - to taste
- Green onions - 1 tablespoon, finely sliced
- Sesame seeds - for garnish
Steps
- Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
- Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove from heat, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
- After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for at least 5 minutes.
- Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
- Add mayonnaise, gochujang, Dijon mustard, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash together until smooth and creamy.
- Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
- Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
