Ingredients

  • Eggs - 4 large
  • Mayonnaise - 2 tablespoons
  • Gochujang - 1 tablespoon
  • Dijon mustard - 1 teaspoon
  • Rice vinegar - 1 teaspoon
  • Sesame oil - 1/2 teaspoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Black pepper - to taste
  • Green onions - 1 tablespoon, finely sliced
  • Sesame seeds - for garnish

Steps

  1. Place the eggs in a saucepan and cover them with cold water. Bring to a boil over medium heat.
  2. Once boiling, cover the saucepan, remove from heat, and let sit for 10-12 minutes.
  3. After the time is up, transfer the eggs to a bowl of ice water and let them cool for at least 5 minutes.
  4. Peel the cooled eggs and slice them in half lengthwise. Remove the yolks and place them in a mixing bowl.
  5. Add mayonnaise, gochujang, Dijon mustard, rice vinegar, sesame oil, salt, and black pepper to the yolks. Mash together until smooth and creamy.
  6. Spoon or pipe the yolk mixture back into the egg white halves.
  7. Garnish with sliced green onions and a sprinkle of sesame seeds before serving.
