- Ginger (grated) - 1 teaspoon
- Green onions (sliced) - 2 stalks
- Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
- Black pepper - 1/2 teaspoon
Steps
- In a large bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and black pepper to create the marinade.
- Add the chicken wings to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours for better flavor.
- Preheat the oven to 200°C (400°F). Line a baking tray with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- Arrange the marinated chicken wings on the wire rack in a single layer, reserving any leftover marinade.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes or until the wings are crispy and cooked through, turning halfway and brushing with the reserved marinade.
- Once cooked, remove from the oven and garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds before serving.
