Ingredients

  • Chicken breast - 300 grams, cut into 2.5 cm cubes
  • Gochujang (Korean chili paste) - 2 tablespoons
  • Soy sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Sesame oil - 1 teaspoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, minced
  • Green onion - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Wooden skewers - 4, soaked in water for 30 minutes

Steps

  1. In a mixing bowl, combine gochujang, soy sauce, honey, sesame oil, minced garlic, and minced ginger to create the marinade.
  2. Add the chicken cubes to the marinade, ensuring they are well coated. Cover and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Preheat the grill or grill pan over medium heat.
  4. Thread the marinated chicken onto the soaked wooden skewers, leaving a little space between each piece.
  5. Grill the skewers for about 10-12 minutes, turning occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and has nice grill marks.
  6. Remove from the grill and sprinkle with chopped green onion and sesame seeds before serving.
