Ingredients

  • Honey - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 2 cloves, minced
  • Ginger - 1 teaspoon, grated
  • Cooked rice - 2 cups (400 grams)
  • Green onions - 2, chopped
  • Sesame seeds - 1 tablespoon
  • Vegetable oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Salt - to taste
  • Pepper - to taste

Steps

  1. In a bowl, mix gochujang, soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, minced garlic, and grated ginger to create a marinade.
  2. Cut the chicken breast into bite-sized pieces and add to the marinade. Allow it to marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  3. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the marinated chicken and cook for about 10-12 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the chicken is cooked through and lightly browned.
  4. While the chicken is cooking, prepare the rice if not already cooked.
  5. Once the chicken is done, season with salt and pepper to taste.
  6. To serve, place a generous portion of rice on each plate, top with the gochujang chicken, and garnish with chopped green onions and sesame seeds.
